![]() ![]() Chhath Puja of Kartika month is more popular than Chaiti Chhath. Chhath Puja is observed twice a year – one in the month of Chaitra (March-April) and the other one in the month of Kartika after Diwali. The first day of Chhath Puja is known as - Nahay Khay, the second day is called - Kharna and on the third day, prayers are offered to setting sun, while on the fourth day the rising sun is worshipped. During the festival, devotees offer prayers to the sun god. A four-day festival, Chaiti Chhath will be celebrated from April 16 to April 19, 2021.
